Carefully shared waiting
Each holding our breath
In trepidation hoping
For a response as blazing
And alive as our own heart

A passionate conversation
Unfolding until no
Longer could we wait in
Invisibility abandoned our
Anonymity in the journey to
Closing hours to seconds

A wildfire we became too
Hot to sustain in this
Form we could no longer
Hold each other in
