Swimming

Swimming in this ocean
I met a beautiful soul
She is as glowing as the sun itself
She ignited my heart

She beckons me to dive deeper
To revel in the sea of her being
I open my arms and my heart to her
I drink the sweetness of her

I am filled with new life
Like the sun and sea she surrounds me
My days now of unfathomable depth
I will swim for it, for her

Love that is as deep as the ocean
Love that is as bright as the sun
I only need look into her deep brown eyes
To see that she is all of this and more.

  1. My Solar Goddess
    By Mary

As candle flames dance in the soft glow of our sister moon
and the sounds of nature surround us
my goddess lays upon the warm living inviting earth
    with dark tempting shadows revealing
hidden secrets of fertile valleys and rolling hills...
    once forbidden pleasures awaiting
    my soft hungry lips
beckoning me to the timeless Eden before me
silently whispering to me of paradise lost- now found ...
silky hair -spilling around her like sweet golden wine,
    from the finest crystal goblet...
    with unquenchable thirst
fire consumes me as I am intoxicated with her beauty
    my reflection in her eyes
only one of many treasured memories
seared into my heart this night...
even the stars look on in awe-
her hair - like the stellar golden rays of the sun
are a wonder to the curious bright stars of the dark night-
they adoringly strain their rays from the heavens
to gently caress the ivory skin of this solar goddess before them
to see if she is real...or a wonderful dream...
their reflections as daylight in the golden sparkle of her hair...
telling myths of light drenched days
in hushed whispers but never seen...
the moon, the stars. the earth, and I
press against her in a kiss...
